anyways... if you r want a change of place then probably botanic gardens.. its alrite since we re having pot luck. but i think its gonna be quite sianz cos not much stuff to do rite?.. haha. so well.. we can go some other park but was thinking going same place. maybe we can go to another part of the park. haha cos like east coast there can cycle and make lots of noise and december has WONDERFUL sunsets. just like the ones i took=)) haha. so we must all go!! haha.. well.. tts up to yr. so ermz. i d go with east coast cos botanics wont be as fun. haha..

Hi again!

Haha. Our blog is like stagnating... Hey, people, blog! And someone please organise a class gathering soon!

Anyway, today I was going through photos from not-so-long-ago again and ohhhh I miss you guys! I was just saving all the photos that Ben posted up just after we got and were split up by our postings. :S All those memories...

Oh yes, today I was also going through the long-ago East Coast photos that I still haven't uploaded. So ummm... Yeah. Here they are (at last) for you to relive that last gathering! I didn't put up ALL the photos, just the main ones (because I was lazy to upload every single one of them). I mostly put up the nicest ones and those with people in them (because I think those are the ones you guys want to see more than just scenery, right?). Anyway, I think the photos are pretty self-explanatory so I'm not going to write captions under them.... Except for some of them that I can't resist not writing captions for. Heh.

Hello everyone! I'm here to blog again after a long time! Haha.

At Daphne's request I have helped her sign off from her last entry. Haha.

Hope your CTs were okay. Mine weren't that good. Haha. I haven't got back my GP, Lit and Bio results though (Bio coming back tomorrow :X). But so far, for Chem and Maths, it hasn't been exactly rejoice-worthy.

Lalala... Hope to see you guys soon! Haha. Yesterday Upside Down happened to play on my iPod while I was going out... Thought of you guys again. I miss Orientation and our mass dances!

how were your cts? mine were like shit but then again i expected it so im not complaining. i spent 1/2 of my hols in uk! went on the lit trip with natalie. twas really fun! although.. we didnt really get yall anything. sorry! stuff there were too ex and we were both on a budget. hope yall dont mind, yeah?
anyways, we should meet up soon. a get together after the cts and the june hols, which very ironically, everyone was probably more caught up with school activities than usual.

hey nat.. dun worry.. we din have much time to spare to go talk to e ppl who came back anyway.. haha. feel abit bad abt tt. haha.. anyway, thanx to everyone for their support=)) our stall... mine at least=)) was a great success.. haha.. i was soooooooo super worried tt everything would screw up then no one would buy or something. haha.. esp after tt incident with the tchr.. i tell u i was super stressed out.. haha.. but yea. im really really greatful it all turned out well=)) in the end our stall collected $2060+ in coupons=))) haha. YAY! we beat even the dunking stall.. haha soo happy=)) v relieved tt its all over now. haha. yea.. i think in the end all the planning turned out well=)) and special thanx to all the ppl from my class too. esp those who stayed thru all the way! im sure none of this would have been possible without them. haha=))

o.. after all the cleaning up.. counting.. all tt we went out for CLASS OUTING!!!... ok.. maybe not.. y is it all the class outings are soooooooooo pathetic!!.... well.. only jamie brana bix ian lisa cindy n 1 went.. haha.. we din even take same bus! then after tt brana was on the phone talking to some barker person for sooooo super long.. in a world of her own.. haha.. but it was fun lah=)) llearnt alot of.... interesting things=)) anyway... we ate a pizza hut as ps. then after tt went to take neo prints. haha.. was so funny. the jamie n bix were hogging the screen!! haha. n the machine had 2 cameras. 1 on top 1 below. so like.. every other picture we had to squat or stand so we d be in the field of view.. haha.. was like doing PE=)) haha.. v funny..

O!!! O!!! i won the SCREAMING competition!!! haha.. n now my voice sounds v v weird...screamed at 138.8 Db.. was sooooooooo fun lar!=)) haha

Letter of Apology (sort of)

Hi guys,

Hey, I feel very bad to say this but I decided not to go for Funtasia in the end because, well, because I was tired.

OK, I know that sounded like a very feeble reason but hear me out. :X

This week, as you all know (because I keep reminding you ;)), is Production Week for College Play. There was a show last night and that went on to past 10pm. Since I'm in the crew, I had to stay back for some cleaning up after the show. By the time I got home, it was close to 12am. Tonight it will be the same, if not worse. Because tonight is the 2nd night of performance and we have to clean up the Performing Arts Centre as much as possible, dismantle the set and all that because on MONDAY there is another peformance going on there. Just in case you all do not know (but I'm sure you do, right?), all that crew work is very tiring. I slept just after 12 last night and only woke up at 11am this morning.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I forgot all about Funtasia. Until this morning, that is, when I read a couple of SMS messages that had arrived in the night, asking me what time I was going to go to Funtasia. THEN I remembered. By this time, I was of half a mind not to go already, given that although I had about 11 hours of sleep, I was still really tired. I wanted to go, I really did, but my mind was firmly contradicting what my heart wanted to do. For a while, I tried to convince myself that I should go... And then I remembered all the stuff I have to do this weekend... and I decided that I shouldn't tire myself out too much, otherwise it is ME who will face the consequences.

This whole week has been packed with work related to College Play. The weekend has the actual College Play production lined up for me two days in a row. Plus, tomorrow (Sunday) is going to be tough for me. I've got lots of things to do, which includes going to church for a few hours in the morning and then a concert on in the afternoon after that (The ticket is $18; I can't just not go!)

In addition to having my GP Common Test next week (which all of you have too, I'm sure), I am leaving for the UK on Friday morning for the Lit Trip (6am, if any of you would like to come to see Daphne and I off? Hahaha :D) and have yet to pack my stuff and get everything together (by this weekend, if possible, because next week will be busy with GP Common Test studying).

Add that to a whole load of homework I've got to complete (I still haven't finished the work from the first 2 months that I missed in RJ) and you have a very tired-out Natalie.

I'm really very sorry and I hope you all aren't angry at me for deciding to give Funtasia a miss. You all aren't, right? I mean, I really did want to go... but I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Hey, at least I bought some tickets to support you all! Haha. But even if I didn't, I'm sure you know that NJ has and always will be very dear to my heart. :) There hasn't been a single day that goes by where I do not think of NJ and the fun times we had in S23.

Still miss and love you all! :D

No one's blogged in a while so here I am! To blog.

So sorry, I can't upload the photos cos I'm in school now. And actually school's basically been crazy for me lately so I haven't had time to do a lot of stuff, including transferring photos from my camera to the computer. I still have photos in there from a long time ago. Eeek.

And I just remembered last week that I didn't post the East Coast gathering photos too. I'll have to do that next time.

Hello, S23-ians!

Okay, since there's not much time to beat about the bush, I'll just go straight to the point:
WHO WANTS TO GO FOR RJ COLLEGE PLAY??

Here are the details:

SHIFTING GEARS
Dates: 19 or 20 May 2006
Days: Friday or Saturday
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: RJC Performing Arts Centre (basically inside RJC, which is near Bishan Junction 8)
Ticket Cost: $10 (Non-free seating)

There are 2 plays being staged on both days (the same 2 plays of course). So it means you get double your money's worth!

One of the plays is called Shifting and is about um, shifting. Basically, there are 3 families who all want to move up in the world by moving to a better place.

A young couple about to be married just wants a place of their own where they can be free from parental interruptions.
An ambitious aunt living with her nephew (who just wants to become Singapore Idol) wants to move to a Condominium from her HDB flat.
A lonely mother wants to move to Australia when her husband is transferred there, hoping that life would be better in "The Lucky Country" but all her daughter wants is to remain in Singapore where her friends are.

The other play (which I'm not so familiar with) is called Where?
It's takes a glimpse into the lives of 4 youths. Sam faces life after an abortion; Lyon tries to come out of a teenage gang; Rene wants out from her parents' ugly divorce proceedings; Jack wants to make it big the easy way.

Now, here comes the important part. I know it's short notice, but if you guys want to watch, please tell me BY 2ND MAY LATEST so that I can get priority tickets for you! This is because RJ will be selling tickets from the booth from 4th May onwards to the rest of the school but there's priority ticketing for Raffles Players (aka Drama) members until 3rd May first. Tickets are usually sold out really quickly so please TELL ME ASAP if you want to go!

Additionally, as the tickets are non-free seating, it's better if you guys order your tickets together so you can sit together. Haha. And it's on a first-come-first-served basis so HURRY, GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!!! (Haha that sounded like some overzealous advertisement, which it is :))

RAMLI BURGER!!

HEY PPL!!!! all u s23ians out there.. for funoorama, 06s21, my class, gonna be selling ramli burgers either at the western stall or the mixed rice stall.. we putting alot of effort into it.. yr must allcome n STUFF yrselves with our food k?!!! haha.. we gonna be selling ramli burgers and nachos=) the nachos gonna be with different kinds of dips.. i think theres.. salsa.. mayo ketchup and maybe even curry!=) haha. so yr all must must must come n eat. haha.

and to all those who r still in nj... we gonna have a number of fun raising events coming up in the next few weeks to fund the cost price of the food.

1) busking... yes yes... chriselle suggests this so we band ppl gonna try n put together some simple pieces to play in the canteen so alll of yr can ENJOY!! so far i think we decided on canon(flute, clar, trombone 3-part piece), under the sea (same 3 + piano + chriselle and fadz singing) and maybe a whole new world if can get the score. if yr wanna hear anything else tell us k?=)

2) guess number of sweets. theres gonna be this HUGE ENORMOUSLY COLOSSAL ( or not so) jar of sweet n chocolates in the canteen. then yr wil pay abt 50c or $1 to guess the number of sweets inside. the prize... THE WHOLE LOT of SWEETS. haha.. i think im hi now=))

3) there maybe a marshmellow n banana choc thingy too.. ok.. u say 2 other grps have done it already.. but.... did they have BANANAS?!!! haha..

4) n last.. but definately the super greatest one... if it gets approved... the PEARL SHOOTING COMPETITION!!!! yep.. tts rite.. we gonna set up pearl shooting store.. all who pparticipate will get a "certified pearl shooter" badge to wear PROUDLY everywhere. haha. then.. there ll also be sweets... and the greatest honour of all.. the pearl trophy.. haha.. or something like tt.. haha. yea. the ultimate pearl shooter will get a trophy n have his/her name n photo (if he/she wants) posted arnd the college. haha.. ok.. this maybe abit over exaggerating... but tts the general idea.. haha..

im so hi tooday.. i think tts y i type so crazily. haha. so yr must support us k?!! tell all yr frens abt it.. ill post up the exact dates these things will be happening.. we may even have a pub stunt!. haha=)

Cultural Night

Anyway, I've just had a blast from Cultural Night and I am super glad and especially want to thank Pravin, Chriselle & Kavi for showing up! I was a bit sad at first thinking that nobody I really knew would be watching, but turns out YAY! Thanks for the flowers! I'm glad you all enjoyed the show & yeah, our NJ's dance groups really rock, don't they? Weren't the Chinese dance guys cool!? ;-) I'll be buying the CD definitely for memories but what a fun night! Look forward to College Day (which I think is Funtasia?) and a lot more to come! =) But nothing can beat the glamour of the stage and the cool lightings and seeing all the performances back to back with all the smooth transitions. Oh well, hopefully we can push for another night next year! (Even though it's supposed to be once in two years... =/) KK, had a great night! Bye guys...

or, the not so wordy "enthalpy change when 1 mole of electrons is removed from 1 mole of gaseous element/ion at ground state." the important part is the "1 mole" part.

Haha. Just to let you guys know... I added our class banner picture to the top of the page under the Profile. It's quite conspicious actually, so you should have noticed it.

I just felt like putting something that represented our class there. At first I wanted to put a class photo but since we have not managed to take a FULL class photo (*ahem*), I decided to put the banner photo instead. It's not nice if someone who is in our class isn't in the photo. And anyway, the banner represents our class! So all's good. :D

Never mind. I found out the cause and managed to fix it. Turns out it was a font tag that wasn't closed. Haha. Anyway, the blog looks a bit duller now without the orange font. But we can liven it up by changing each individual entries' font colour and font. Do that from the posting screen, ok? :D

well.. just to say tt it has been alot quieter since all of yr went off.. theres been less name calling, scandalling, prata party-ing, card gaming... yea.. everything seems to have slowed down alot... the 2nd intakers all quite nice.. but then we havent really got to noe each other yet. just noe some names n some faces. haha. but well.. so far so good. abt the stress factor.. things seem to be going faster.. esp maths. whiich is quite a big mess for me.. haha.. other than tt.. bio, chem still ok. then geog... still fun. haha.
then of course theres the super hot weather these few days.. then our uniform becomes like some Al foil for ovening... haha.. so normally by afternoon when its super hot everyone starts getting sleepy n yawny. haha.
o but there have been afew new stories since... like.. jamie's oldder sister whos in england.. then abt jamies home land (the japenese trench in the antartic ocean. shes a mermaid btw...oops.. i think i wasnt supposed to let out the secret.... =))

my new tchrs all quite nice so far.. my CT is stephen tsang. hes v nice n funnyy. haha. then erm.. we got a miss low for chem. some J3 who speaks with a lisp.. well.. shes ok lah.. sometimes can get irritating.. haha. then ermz... maths i got Mr yeo. quite nice.. but the class is super boring.. haha.. cos like.. the winners of the intra college maths comp thing.. all sitting one row infront of me.. haha.. so... well.. makes me feel stupid. bio still got Mr davidson =)) hes so nice lor! haha. tts more or less all my tchrs i guess..

Hi!!! I miss NJ soooo much!! Haha..just wanted to blog abt how much i miss nj...in nj, i had to persuade pple to join me to eat during breaks and lunch..in aj, pple have to force me to eat..the food's that terrible!! I miss nj food!! Esp the different types of bubble tea and pratas..heez..my mouth is watering...i miss nj canteen!! Esp the piano and the round tables....had always loved the sweet music from the piano..it made the atmosphere so romantic...hmmz...I miss those stairs..it really was great exercise climbing up the stairs everyday to get inside the sch..haha..i miss the ever-friendly bookshop aunty (AJ bookshop aunty is a meanie!) I miss the spacious library which is always buzzing with pple mugging, chatting and slacking...i miss the shooting range....can still rmb my very first attempt at pistol shooting...and the day of the trials is clear on my mind too =) i miss thursdays when we can come to sch later than usual...i miss the creative ways in which ccas and announcements are advertised during morning assembly...i miss the national anthem played by the band everyday...i miss singing inilah and The National Dream...I miss the scandals, jokes, games, gatherings, teasings, fun, joy and laughter! Most of all, i miss my dear S23 pple!! Heez...enjoying myself in aj now with crazy classmates, cute eye-candies and a much more relaxed environment...but nj and s23 will always hold a special place in my heart..haha..Do miss me kies s23? Hello, people! YES! The photos are HERE!!!! Haha. Let's start from the very beginning... A very good place to start. When you read you begin with ABC, when you sing you begin with... Okay, never mind. Haha. I got carried away. Anyway, since we're starting from the beginning of the year (a.k.a. January), everything is in chronological order (I put the date and event [if any] at the beginning of each new section so that it'd make more sense to you).

Obviously, since I took over 400 photos, some photos taken did not "make the cut", so to speak. I LOVE S23!!!

Oh my gosh. Going for class gathering at East Coast Beach today was so darn fun! I wish everyone could've been there. There's no words to tell you all how much I miss our class man!

It was so funny when we were playing Bridge... And everyone was so blur about who was whose partner... And me being so un-alert and actually thinking of ways to thwart Ben when he actually had the card I called for (and played it too!)!!! Oh gosh. And later when I got like 8 of the Spades suit, I forgot to get rid of my Queen of Diamonds (the only diamond I had) first, so I managed to trump all the tricks until the last one... which happened to be the "deciding" trick on who was to win or lose... AND THEN I LOST BECAUSE SABRINA HAD A KING OF DIAMONDS!!! OMG I can't believe I didn't think of getting rid of the Diamond Queen first. Got too eager to trump everything and see everyone's expressions when I did that (and win!), I guess. I keep going *facepalm* everytime I think of that. I could have won a game of Bridge for the first time (as in, me winning and helping my partner... cos most of the time it's my partner winning... so it's not really my effort, sorta). Ah well.

And then we rented the bicycles for like 2 hours... but spent most of the 2 hours on the beach skipping stones (my arms ache from all that throwing now!), writing stuff on the sand and playing in the water instead. So we practically paid the $6 just to cycle to the pavilion and back! Oh and I hope Saby a.k.a. Brana can cycle now?

I am so tired now. I am seriously in no mood to do Chem homework even though I have like remedial tomorrow. Sigh.

Anyway, I PROMISE THE PHOTOS WILL BE UP SOON. YES. I need to put them up soon anyway, cos they are taking up space in my computer.... After I upload the photos, I'll just burn them out into CDs and then delete them from the computer. Computer's getting a bit cluttered. Haha. If I haven't put the photos up yet and you REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT THEM, you are welcome to come and harrass me about the photos whenever I am online. Actually, if I don't get the photos up by Thursday you can probably start harrassing me about it already. Haha.

Oh and yeah, since I have a lot of photos (like 350 to 400 plus), I'll only put up some (there will be a lot of photos when I finally put them up, though, cos I have photos since the beginning of 2006). So if you want any other specific photo that I didn't put up, you can ask me for it. Or I might send it to you when you are online. Cos I doubt everyone will be able to remember all the photos. Yup.

Hello, long time no blog... Felt the urge since I am in my home country now. Took a flight home on that very Friday night and when I was in the airport, I just realized this year is the Commonwealth Games cos' I saw the Singapore team in the terminal. Very few sad people, 20 max and they were posing in front of the 'Support Singapore!' poster. I don't think cable in Singapore has any special channels for Commonwealth/Olympics etc hor? Oh well, won't have the time to watch anyway. Hopefully World Cup 2006 can la =)

Anyway, my results are coming out tomorrow and I am a little nervous, but more of excited. I don't think I really screwed up anything (unless it was so long ago it faded from my memory already) but I don't want to be too expectant of anything la, later pai seh only. But I have to make like 5 certified copies of my results to bring back to Singapore, for approval of me staying in NJ... So if you all don't see me after these hols, means I did terribly =P (Joking, I hope)

I didn't bring much of my lecture notes but I did bring along all my homework, not that I plan to do much. So it's pretty good, this KM & e-lectures thing online =), at least I can just log on and refer instead of lugging my books everywhere with me. Kk, hope you guys have fun flying kites or cycling or whatever, may good weather be with you!

A lifetime's not too long to live as friends

When I woke up this morning, the first thought in my head was, 'I'm never going to have to go back to NJC for lessons again... And I'm never going to see all of my S23 classmates in school again.' In these short two months, we've had so many shared experiences and a whole barrelful of fun times that, really, it becomes quite heart-wrenching to have to leave.

Predictably, I have been hit by nostalgia and sadness - hard. Still, we must remember that whatever happens, life goes on. Like Mr Davidson says, whatever school you end up in, it's really the same. If you want to get your good results, you can achieve that in any school you are in. All you've got to do is to put in the effort and work hard so that YOU will reap the results of your work. :)

I'm going to miss NJC loads. What will the future bring? As cliché as it sounds, only time will tell. Just go on with an open mind and heart and see where it takes you.

Hi again!

Sorry I haven't uploaded the many many photos I have taken to our class blog yet. Actually, I haven't even uploaded them to the computer yet. Anyway, I will upload it to the blog once I transfer it to the computer. I need to clear some Hard Disk space first. My computer's running so slowly nowadays.

Anyway, we should take a FULL COMPLETE CLASS PHOTO on Monday! I was thinking before Civics cos there's lunch. But then today they told us we might have to watch that crappy video thing again. So our options now are:

a) Monday during Break
b) Monday during Lunch
c) Monday during Civics (if we don't have to watch the video - just take 5 min to take the photo)
d) Wednesday during CONTACT/CAAL - provided nothing is going on
e) Thursday morning before school starts
f) Thursday directly after PW lecture period

I think (a), (b) and (c) are the best options. Cos Wednesday and Thursday is quite late already. And we probably can't take photo on Friday cos number one, it's Posting Results and number two, people will probably pon school or something and even if they don't, I doubt anyone will be in the mood to take photo.

So, Monday's the best. EVERYONE COME TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY! I say during Break it's the best. Cos break is only 20 mins (and most people don't really eat during Break). So we can just quickly take a photo. Either that or during lunch, which I think is not so good cos everyone will want to eat during Lunch for sure.

So how?

Haha, I hope everyone reads this... Or at least that no one's absent on Monday. Otherwise it'll defeat the purpose.

funorama was generally quite fun! haha we had cotten candy fights, random picture taking, sushi (benny you just missed the sushi thats all) and a game. the haunted house wasnt bad either! they obviously put in a considerable amount of effort to put it up! heard that the one i went to wasnt the scariest one of all but it was enough to freak me out haha that stupid song the girl kept sanging was just haunting and the concept of a hospital is qt bad too haha. BECAUSE none of you wantd to follow me, i went with my sec4 friend and her friend, tog with 3 other complete strangers.

had a talk with mum just now, she was like totally against ib so i guess i wont be going. anyways, she made a point; ill have to study my ass off if i go there but if i take the normal path, i may be able to have a little bit more fun haha so now im still like -vj or nj? im so confused its frustrating! vj cs so many of my classmates are there; nj cs i love my class. but its still like not confirmed that we'll be in the same class or anything even if i stay right.. then if other people come in, its gna be different, somehow haha at least i think so lah. yall cant be replaced by anyone (:
on a lighter note, i changed uni with van today! omg dont knw if she still wants to crash vj tmr. i hope she still is! im like, half prepared to go to nj tmr though. just in case. omg and you all keep doing your homework i feel pressured to do mine. but its like 1230 now and i havent bathed. yeah i got home, talked on the phone and blogged haha i think ill do it later lah. but what math tutorial were you all talking abt anyways? eh i cant do functions and graphs lah and those were the only 2 chapts taught so far..

Heyaz!! Today's the 6th of feb which means there's exactly three more months for me to turn seventeen..hehe..kies..anyway..my body was aching all over today cuz of pe yst...so ouchie...hmmz..gp was interesting today..we discussed abt racism..my gp tutor was so funny..there's this guy in my class who stands up whenever he has to answer any qns...she called him the "stand up" boy since she couldn't rmb his name...and she said that he answered qns in a constipated way..hahazz..so mean but super funny at that time..he's really wierd in a cute way..lol..

I still dun understand maths....jus too lazy to look thru my lect notes thats why..bought the bio textbook from the canteen during break..the book's so damn heavy..it costs $59..i couldn't carry the book at all cuz my arms were aching so i really have to thank pravin and ying jie for helping me to carry it..esp pravin cuz he carried it to most of my classes..im just so weak..hahazz..had lunch with most s23 today...ying jie asked me to try chicken cutlet from the western food stall...i decided to and suddenly there were like five 23s queuing up behind us..lol..chicken cutlet was too heavy a lunch..i couldn't finish it but it was ok..thx to ying jie again for the new $2 note(that plasticky one)... and to ben for the very nice $10 note..somehow in the end i returned yj his note and i got a new $2 note from ben..=P i jus love the feel of money..dunno why..kies i'm sick i know..hahazz..that's why i was helping pravin collect money from the class today..i had always been the treasurer at sec sch so it was a job that i didn't mind doing..yea..and i think pravin is really unlucky to share all of his classes with me..i'm irritating him so much..hahazz..poor guy..

After lunch we went to our civics class to discuss abt the class party and stuff..was kind of chaotic but i think everything will turn out fine in the end..abt the relay system thingy..sorry but i doubt it will work..but there's no harm in giving it a try i guess..Last lesson was chem practical..then after that followed pravin, james, jamie, ben, yj and chriselle to shop for party stuff..hahazz..was fun actually...and i dun care..everyone has to come for the party! Every person makes a difference..yes..Everyone pls try to make it to the party! Lastly, IS ANYONE COMING TO SCH ON FRIDAY? Cuz i really dun want to...and i think it shld be one for all, all for one..tag tag tag pple! =D

Okay, I know I posted this in the tagboard but just in case nobody reads the tagboard, I'll say it again:

Does anyone want Yu Sheng for the class party? I can buy some (really, really, super-duperly good) Yu Sheng for all of you to toss and eat. Haha. Of course, I'll claim back the money from Class Fund after that. So if you all want, please tell me okay? I'll probably ask this again during PW periods tomorrow though.

Anyway, yes, RELAY SYSTEM. Phoebe said she's making one (and I support this move) but please, we need your cooperation in it. If we really have a Relay System, you guys must all be responsible for your part in the relay system, otherwise it'll break down and it won't be of use. These things are created to make things more convenient for everyone. It isn't fair if it ends up with one person like Kavitha or anyone else having to pass the message individually to everyone because you all are (sorry, but I have to say it) too lazy to pass the message on to the next person. Please do your part and make the relay system work.

When you get the SMS, please reply to acknowledge before you pass the message on to the next person (Even if you want to save SMS or whatever, just reply. It is ONLY POLITE to reply to acknowledge.). Also, if the person you pass the message to has not replied in two hours, can you please CALL and make sure the message gets through. If for some reason or another, you are unable to contact the next person, do call the person after that. So, for example:

A has to pass to B who has to pass to C who has to pass to D... so on so forth.

A sends a message by SMS to B.
2 hours pass and B does not reply to acknowledge.
A CALLS B but is unable to contact B.
A CALLS C to tell him/her about the message.
C continues the relay and passes the message to D.

And the relay continues...

If in the case where A calls C and C is also uncontactable, A should also call D. Continue this "cycle" until you manage to contact someone down the relay. Please, if you cannot contact the 2nd person, call (not send SMS to) the third person/fourth person etc.

Another thing is, since nobody raised any violent objections to inviting the class OGLs to the Class Party, I'll tell Dai Xuan, Yi Ting and Mae Yue about the Class Party on Tuesday (tomorrow) during Choir. Then I'll ask them to help us to tell Kai Siang and Fang Yu because I have no idea what class the 2 of them are in and I don't have their contact numbers and stuff. So we'll have to finalise the details of the party tomorrow (Tuesday) so that I can tell them. It's not very nice to invite someone to a party and keep saying "not sure (this), not sure (that)" when they ask about stuff. Here's the details so far that I know:

Date: 9 February 2006
Day: Thursday
Venue: Chriselle's House (address not written for securtiy reasons - please check your Class Contact List)
Time: Evening to Night (exact timing to be confirmed)

Hopefully, by tomorrow, everything will be sorted out.

Right, and Class T-shirt. I hope I'm not the only one who will be designing (or attempting to design) something, okay? CLASS TEE means CLASS EFFORT. Yup.

2ndly, ROSES.... interact is selling roses for V day. i need to get orders from yr ppl n send it back to them so they can order the roses. each rose cost $2.50 and profits will go to sree narayana mission home for the aged sick. (quite a mouthful) yea. however, if we buy by bunches of 10, each roses will be $2 for example, 22 roses will cos (20*2 + 2*2.50) $45 yea. so please rem to bring yr $ by 2moro

3rdly, in addition to the relay sytem (which i doubt will work) and kavitha's contribution in letting ppl noe of stuff, the board next to the door way of our class will be the announcements board, if anyone should need to put up any announcements u can write on the photocopied "recruit" papers that miss tan so kindly printed for us(i hope she doesnt read this) and staple it onto the board. the only condition is: once the time span for that announcement is over, remove the piece of paper.. yea. if everyone takes a look at that board every once in awhile it should save us alot of talk time n SMSes. yea. thanx alot.

lastly, the straits times recruit career guide 2006 will be sold at the canteen on monday the 8th for $5 a copy. i suggest we get one copy and then keep it in class for everyones reference.

hmm. i din go to skl today!! cos i went to get my 2 teeth extracted. and it was DAMN PAINFULL! and now my lips and numb and my mouth looks a lil deformed. when i try to smile.. i look pervertic. cos i cant open my mouth properly. and i cant talk.. and can only sip porridge.

I'm struggling with all my subjects too even though i didn't miss any sch days so i think nat is much better off..econs is so boring can..i was practically falling asleep larz..don't know how pravin manages to find the lecture interesting...he was glued to ms Tan's every word..passion for the subject helps..hmmz..having two periods of mother tongue tmr..omg..i really dislike having to go for MT lesson..do u all believe that there's only three people in my MT class including me?! One IP guy, one J1 guy and poor old me..Pathetic larz..I'm suddenly finding studying a chore...

We are supposedly going to have the birthday celebrations for the jan and feb babies tmr after sch..hope that it turns out well...heard from a friend of mine that the results would be released next monday and the next two days after the release of results would be holiday for us..don't know how true is that..why must it be so soon??? Everything is gonna be so chaotic..Didn't mean to remind everyone abt O's..it's just a looming thought...

OK, I THINK I've more or less caught up with some work. The only subject that I have one heck a lot of problems with and still can't figure out properly is Maths. I have like 10% comprehension of that subject at the moment, while in Chem, Bio, Lit and even in GP, I have at least 60% comprehension of the subjects. Or 50% at the very least. Maths is just totally :X and :| and makes me feel like going :( and :'( all the time.

Ah well.

Must formerly thank Navin for all the Bio explanations... so THANK YOU NAVIN! Haha. Gosh. I seriously have to start studying Bio with you or something (Haha Alethea will join in too, I'll bet). I still am finding it hard to believe you put in so much effort for your Bio!

Also THANK YOU NAVIN for explaining the Chem redox reactions thing about the hydroxide ions. I seem to be asking you about every subject. Sorry. Haha!

Another THANK YOU to Schezn for explaining some Maths stuff today, though I am still a little mixed up in some parts... but at least now I've got some of my confusion cleared up... giving me possibly something like 15% comprehension instead of just 10%.

Oh but I made a HUGE ACHIEVEMENT TODAY! I finally managed to operate the graphic calculator! WHOOHOO! Yay. At least now it doesn't show error everywhere I press. Goodie.

Anyway, are some people still unaware of the class blog? Ben, you haven't photocopied the new class list is it? If you haven't, do get it photocopied by Friday okay? Cos we have Civics on Friday then you can take advantage of everyone's presence to give it out and make the correction to Pravin's address too (I updated that one on the computer already).

Haha, I'm still deciding if I should link my blog to the class blog... Maybe I will. I haven't decided yet. I think when I link the class blog to my blog, I'll link my blog to the class blog. See first.

Hi class,

My new year was really nice, which kinda makes me miss my family & frens back home... Stayed out late with my frens mamak-ing (mamak = coffee shop) and visiting my frens at their workplaces... Slept really late too, like 2 a.m. every night, frens came over to hang out & play games with my family (frens & family combo always rocks) so don't mind me if I'm super sleepy & dull this week, a body's got to adjust =P

Anyway, I think our class T shirt should be really cute but not too decorated that it's cheesy... Let's make it cool & elegant (let's have our names on it!) so that we can wear anytime, anywhere... NO football shirts please, boring! So what will we be doing at our class party? BBQ & food? Anything else? Friday will give us such a short time for a party =( but yet I've got stuff on on Saturday, youth service at church & all...

Hallo, hallo!

It's Chinese New Year Eve... 2 hours to midnight! I've finished eating my reunion dinner (which is at my house) so I'm just taking some time to use the computer now!

Anyway, to answer Ben's questions, yes you all can call me nat (actually some people already do). As for that photo... I took it in class that day, when you were playing your clarinet. Haha. It's quite a nice photo, actually. And it only sounds wrong because of the blowing comment. Hahaha. And actually, that comment was made by YOU. (And it's a very sick comment, by the way)

I missed all the stuff about NJ Superstar. I don't know who can sing better and stuff. Actually, you know I think Roman only won cos he's more popular and more people, especially JC1s, know him cos he's on the Student Council and was involved in Orientation. Frankly, I don't think his singing is that good. And one of my choir seniors was telling us that whenever he sings the National Anthem, he's always singing flat. I think she has a point, because that day during the full-dress CNY rehersal in the hall, they made the finalists go on stage to sing one-by-one (sort of like on the actual day) and I wasn't very impressed with his singing cos I did find it a bit flat as well. Ah well.

Yay, my cough is getting better now! Hopefully it'll be gone by the time I go back to school on Wednesday... after I catch up with all the homework!!!

Where I was during CNY Celebrations

Hey everyone!

Yeah, okay, so I bet everyone was wondering where I was today?

No, I wasn't sick again. Well, technically I haven't fully recovered yet but I didn't miss school today because of that. In fact, I didn't miss school at all. During morning assembly, I was standing with the choir at the back. I'm actually supposed to do that every Monday and Friday, only on previous Mondays and Fridays, after the choir practice outside the bookshop, I just went to stand with our class because I didn't know we had to go to the back of the parade square (next to the band) to sing the National Anthem and School Song.

Anyway, from now onwards, you all won't see me standing in the class line whenever I have these "Morning Singing" sessions on Mondays and Fridays.

The next thing is... Where was I during the CNY Celebrations?

Answer: I was with the choir again. We had to perform in the hall and all performers can't attend the celebrations... So, sadly, I was stuck in LT2 (the air-con overworked big-time, making it super cold - it seems like in NJ, it's either super hot or super cold, with no real in-between!). I wanted to go into LT1 to find you guys after that but then I wasn't allowed to.

Anyway, my new timetable is kind of sucky too because I'm basically in most of my tutorials alone. Well, except for Maths and Bio tutorials, cos Tian Wei's in my tutorials, only I rarely talk to him because he, well, doesn't talk much (not to me, anyway). Sorry, Tian Wei, but really!! :X

I keep getting put together with S24 and S17 and frankly, you can see the obvious divide in the tutorial class. It's quite sickening that I can't be with our class, or even with more of our classmates. I think our class is a lot happier and friendlier somewhat... maybe it's because I know all of you already.

Maths is just one horrible disaster because I totally don't know what's going on and I have no idea what the teacher is talking about. The rest of the subjects is not so bad, I guess. Maths is really the ultimate worst. And the worst thing is that I totally have no idea how to operate the graphic calculator. I need a crash course on that or something. OH, and I need to borrow someone's Maths lecture notes to copy stuff from the lecture I missed on Tuesday too.

So much work to do... *sigh* Chinese New Year is going to be very busy.

Haha. We should all just compare timetables so that we can see who has free periods together. I have some free periods when no one seems to be around... which is so sad, innit?

Anyway, seeing our class blog so active makes me really happy. Haha! WHOOPEE!!!

AND I SUPPORT HAVING A CLASS T-SHIRT! By the way, most personalised t-shirts (which is what a class t-shirt is, since it's personalised by us) cost about 15 to 20 dollars.

Oh yeah, and I have loads of photos. Only I haven't uploaded them to the computer yet. I'll pick the nicest ones and put up la. Some of them are like crap photos. I think you all won't want to see them anyway. Oh, but I have one of Ben and Clari. LOL. And he's "blowing her" in it. Hahahahaha!

AH yes, and did you know you can just click on the smaller photo to view the bigger version of the picture? Haha. So you don't really have to ask the person whose photo it is for the bigger version.

Wow, okay I've blogged a lot. Haha. Hope I get well soon. I've been feeling so rotten in school these few days. At least I have the CNY weekend to rest at home, though I won't be able to eat all those CNY goodies because of my terrible cough.

AND YES WE MUST HAVE A CLASS OUTING SOON.

And O Level results are going to be out very very soon. AHHHH!!!

Hey pple!! Here to blog in our wonderful class blog..Van..ur jokes r like super mean larz..hahazz..but i had a laugh after reading them..and the photos look great! Too bad i'm not in any of them..where did everyone go today anyway? The class was scattered all over the place..the NJ superstar ended earlier than i expected..i voted for roman and he won!! So happy..he is definately my superstar..a package of x-factor and talent! Heez..i think no one saw me today cuz i left sch once the superstar thingy ended cuz had to rush to my secondary sch..yea..I'm all on for the idea of designing a class tshirt! I was thinking of that today too actually when i saw 06S02's class t..but theirs is 20 bucks larz..that's too much to spend on a tshirt..hope that ours' will be nice yet affordable..yes..hmmz..Do update me abt the class outing yah even though i dun think i'd be able to make it unless its after sch..cuz i lead a busy life on weekends..lol..lastly, Happy Chinese New Year to all 23s! i think tts it so far... got lots more.. but i think if i put them all on this post would be super long. haha.. well.. this week has been quite terrible.. i think id have died if there wasnt any bridge=P haha.. i think the nicest lesson so far has been bio.. then chem followed by geog (for obvious reasons) yea. the worst is definately gp.. i think our tchr is seriously.. well.. crazy? i mean who reads dictionaries in their free time?? haha. maths also quite sian... e teacher explained how to use GC as though we never used a normal cal b4.. haha.. where the "+" and "-" sign was. but the cable was the worse.. "do you noe which button to press?" me:"theres no cable from the computer to the box" tchr:"oh.. now we dont need cables anymore" then she walks out to find help from another tchr n returns with a cable... so... _-_,... yea. anyway, i think i talk too much=P have a nice CNY n a good rest.. so many ppl fall sick liao.

Hi people, just decided to blog for the 1st time here. Apparently our class blog is pretty unpopular & inactive... Can't be helped I suppose, it's pretty hard to blog about a dull daily routine, unless something wild happens. Anyway, I shall be leaving from school directly tmr and get on a car to go home to KL! I'm looking forward like mad to see my family after a month & hang out wif my old best friends & boast about our school! =)

(Just reread & I sound a total stalker) Yeah, it totally sucks about the schedule, I have experienced it first hand today & yesterday... I was alone for like 3 hours while other people were bz hanging out with their classes, the misery! Hi!! We got our new timetable today and i'm like not that in love with mine..most of the pple in the class are not happy too i heard..my timetable is like totally packed lar..i'm going home at 4.30pm practically everyday and i have very few free periods in between...What's more is that we only meet our class for civics..S23 is like all over the place, separated from one another..I couldn't even get to meet any of my classmates till lunch..kind of missed them today..hahazz..but we'll be having civics tmr so the class will be together again..yea!! The only reason why i like civics is because we'll be together as a class again!

Oh yes...i have loads of hwk to do today and i'm having trouble with biology..hoping to find some time tmr to discuss the qns with fellow 23s..^^ Some classmates went to watch "The memoirs of a geisha" yesterday...heard that the movie was good but not as good as the book so i bought the book! If anyone wants to borrow, feel free to ask me yah..:P hmmz..that's all i have to blog today i guess..Hopefully i can cope with my new timetable..all the best to everyone!! 06S23 rawks!! =D

Hello S23! Yes, now we have a (very very nice) class blog (created by me)! Whee!

This is the place where we can blog to share our personal experiences in class/school/elsewhere. Or you could treat it as a place to post "Class News" (we'll have to check and update this place regularly if that's the case). Post all you want, but please remember to sign off after each entry so we'll know who's posting.

This is also the place where we may share the photos we have taken with our respective cameras with the rest of the class (since there's a 30MB limit for Yahoogroups and all our photos combined are definitely more than 30MB). Upload them using the Add Image function in the Create Post area.

Blogger has a total limit of 300MB for photos, so we can't upload that many either. But it's better than just 30MB, right?

Oh yeah, if anyone wants to add the link to their personal blog here, please go edit the template and add your link in your name in 'S23 Members' (replace the fake url of 'http://yourbloglink.blogspot.com' with your own link). Please don't add others' blog links unless they have asked you to do so because there may be some people who do not want to share their personal blogs.
